This weekend it’s Halloween but there’s nothing spooky about this organic Riesling from Weingut Krebs in Pfalz. Apples and pears meet citrus, minerality and slate – it has a very fresh and crisp feel to it – great nose – not super complex but it still has all the good stuff that you want from a nice German Riesling. It will be paired with su huuuuuuuuuuuuushi (needs to be pronounced with an eerie voice) – always a hair-raising combo that can’t to horribly wrong (all puns intended). Happy Hallowine!
